eSIM setup & help
Check your phone, install the eSIM, then confirm compatibility before you buy.
Does your phone support eSIM?
Most phones from 2019 on do. Quick checks:
- Dial *#06# — if an EID shows (next to the IMEI), you're good.
- iPhone: Settings → General → About → look for EID (iPhone XS/XR and newer).
- Android: Settings → About phone (or SIM manager) → look for EID / "Add eSIM".
- Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked.
Install your eSIM
We email a QR code after purchase — install it on Wi-Fi:
iPhone
- Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular) → Add eSIM.
- Use QR Code and scan the one from the email.
Android
- Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR code from the email.
Can't scan? Use the manual code (LPA) in the email.
When you land
- Turn on the eSIM line and enable Data Roaming for it.
- Set the eSIM as your mobile data line (so you use the travel plan, not your home SIM).
- Keep your home SIM for calls/texts — eSIM phones run both.
Confirm compatibility
Required before you can buy an eSIM.
Verify your email on the
store page first — your confirmation is saved against that email.
Tip: install the eSIM before you travel; turn on data roaming once you land.
